What we process and why

  • Order data (name, e-mail, billing details, payment status) — to perform the contract and to meet Belgian accounting obligations. Legal bases: performance of a contract; legal obligation.
  • The product CSV you send — to perform the service you ordered. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
  • Support e-mails — to answer you. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

What we do not want

Files containing personal data of your customers. Every file is screened; if personal data is detected the file is rejected and deleted and the order is refunded. We never use your file for training, marketing or anything other than your order.

Processors

Shopify International Ltd. (store, checkout, order e-mails) and Shopify Payments; Google LLC (Gmail) for e-mail. No other processors are used.

Retention

Product CSV, corrected copy and report: deleted no later than seven days after delivery. Order and invoice data: kept for the period required by Belgian accounting and VAT law (currently ten years for accounting records). Support e-mails: deleted within twelve months after the last message.

International transfers

Shopify and Google may process data outside the EEA; they rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data and to object to processing. Write to info.jithox@gmail.com. You may lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).

Cookies

The Jithox landing page at free-lite.jithox.com sets no cookies and uses no analytics. This Shopify store uses Shopify's cookie banner and consent settings; you can change your choices via the banner.
