Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 14 September 2026. Statutory consumer rights always prevail.

1. Nature of the service

Shopify CSV Import Preflight is a service performed by a person; it is not downloadable digital content and nothing is shipped. Performance normally starts within one business day and is completed within fourteen days of your order.

2. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

If you order as a consumer in the EU, you have 14 days from the day after the order to withdraw without giving a reason (Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 9; Belgian Code of Economic Law, Art. VI.47).

3. Starting before the 14 days end — your express request

By placing the order you can expressly request that Jithox starts the service before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period, and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. This request and acknowledgement are confirmed to you in the order confirmation e-mail (durable medium), as required by Art. 7(3), 8(7) and 8(8) of the Directive. If you do not want this, reply to the order confirmation within 24 hours with "wait" and Jithox will not start before day 15.

4. Consequences

If you withdraw after making that request but before the report is delivered, you pay a proportionate amount for the work already done (Art. 14(3)); Jithox will state the amount. Once the report has been delivered (service fully performed), the right of withdrawal no longer applies (Art. 16(a)). If you asked Jithox to wait, you may withdraw at no cost during the 14 days.

5. Rejected files

If your file is rejected before work starts (wrong file type, personal data, out of scope), you receive a full refund within 14 days via the original payment method.

6. Complaints

If the report does not match what was ordered, e-mail info.jithox@gmail.com within 14 days; Jithox will correct it or refund the price. Statutory conformity rights remain unaffected.

7. Business customers

The statutory right of withdrawal applies to consumers only. Business customers may cancel free of charge until work has started.

8. How to withdraw

E-mail info.jithox@gmail.com with your order number and the words "I withdraw". You may also use the model withdrawal form in Annex I(B) of Directive 2011/83/EU: "To Victor-Emmanuel Charlier (jithox), Samberstraat 69, 2060 Antwerpen, Belgium, info.jithox@gmail.com: I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the provision of the following service: Shopify CSV Import Preflight, ordered on [date], order number [number]. Name of consumer, address of consumer, date."
